Counselling

When a young person starts to experience emotional or social difficulties, getting support early can make a real difference. They may be feeling worried, overwhelmed, withdrawn, or finding it harder to cope at school, with friends, or at home. Early intervention counselling provides a safe, supportive space to talk things through, understand what’s going on, and build practical strategies before concerns grow.

Helping Minds provides free and confidential early intervention counselling for young people aged seven to 18.

  • Individual counselling appointments
  • Telehealth counselling for people in regional and remote WA (aged 15 upwards)
  • In-school counselling for students aged 7-17
