Dance Connection

A series of creative well being programs

Dance Connection is for young people aged 4–12 who want to nurture their wellbeing, build confidence and feel more connected—to themselves, to others, and to their community.

Through dance, music, visual art and self-reflection—participants can express themselves, explore emotions and develop positive mental health skills in a safe, supportive environment. The programs offer a series of creative activities designed to promote a sense of wellbeing, encourage self‑expression, improve self-belief and strengthen resilience. It’s a fun, engaging option for young people who enjoy learning and connecting through creative experiences.

Dance Connection workshops are held throughout Western Australia. If there are no sessions currently scheduled—or none near you—we’d still love to hear from you.

Tell us where you’re based and why you’re interested in bringing the program to your local community. We’re always looking for new places to connect with and support.

Client feedback

“My daughter was very hesitant at first. New environments can be overwhelming for her, so watching her slowly warm up, participate more openly, and even initiate a goodbye hug with another child by the second session was incredibly moving. To put that in context: it took her over a year at school to find two friends, and she still spends most breaks by herself.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say she had a full confidence boost in just two days, but the speed of that connection was astonishing. It speaks volumes about the environment you’ve created. I would even think about ongoing sessions, I believe this program could have a truly profound impact seeing what it achieved with my daughter.”
